about

"So I’ve gotten to the point in my college career where my free time has become filled with research, presentations, and mobile videogames about enslaving virtual creatures. So this is kind of my last EP/Album for a while since I probably won’t have time to finish a big collection on my own again for quite a while. While I’m still extremely inexperienced in terms of writing and producing, I’ve enjoyed getting to do things like this for the past couple of years, and hopefully I’ll get small little songs done and released at random times so I don’t become completely depressed from lack of playing guitar. Also I really like this album art because it pretty much just represents my life at this point." - Blackbird (Samuel Wright)

Track Name: Super Zero
Al!ce.16:

I was just another kid
Afraid of all the things they said
I couldn't do
I couldn't win

Is this the way to treat children

You're the one I want to save
But nobody wants to save me

Why I can't I try to see
The path in my dreams

How could I not see
You standing there
Watching me
Oh so gently
Calling out
Through your mouth
Yet I can't

You're the one I want to save
But nobody wants to save me

Why I can't I try to see
The path in my dreams

They said, they said, to me, you'll never be anything

They said, they said, to me, you'll never be worth saving
Track Name: Bedtime Paradoxes
Al!ce.16:

Verse 1:

I used to look at you as if
You were somebody so amazing

I used to wonder
Is this it
Is this all that it means to live

CHORUS 1:
Coincidental memories
You'll always be special to me

Lay me down and cry for me
There's not much left in this world for me

VERSE 2:
I used to feel like
Total shit
Until I found that I have nothing left

I don’t want to
Feel at all
I want the earth to
swallow me whole

Feel it all surrounding me
Let it consume me completely
Finding all the dreams we shared
To this world they can't compare

I fucking hate this
What can I do
I can't stop hurting you

Please release me from your grip
I'm not worth all you give

CHORUS 2:
Coincidental memories
You'll always be special to me

Lay me down and cry for me
There's not much left here to see

Track Name: We're Sorry (Metal Version)
Alice:

Senses blinded to camouflage like this
Fallin' up when I'm coming down
Is this what they call bliss
Breathin' in when I should drown
There's a shadow when there's no light
Burnin' hot when I'm freezing cold
Did I loose my sight?
When did I become bold?
Silently breathin'
Over you
Ohh, I'm dyin'
This is, the end, hells freezing over
You're freezin' over
It's all pretend, the façade you've made
Shattering
Into the hands of someone not there
Carefully, whisked, away.
Loose canon' ya actin' tough
must be done
Had enough
Cant touch the end for the life you
Fallin' down like you always do
touch like ice you bite down twice
there's no room for eyes that lie at that price
No more running, no more crying, only trying
Silently breathin'
Over you
Ohh, I'm dyin'
This is, the end, hells freezing over
You're freezin' over
It's all pretend, the façade you've made
Shattering
Into the hands of someone not there
Carefully, whisked, away.
Track Name: Gastropod
Al!ce.16:

My world only exists on
My shoulders
My shoulders

I've been carrying it around
All the weight is crushing down
It hurts
It hurts

Running home again

I want run again
So far I'm getting nowhere

I can't believe it's here
My chance to throw this pain out

I am a loser who can't wait for their turn to cry
To move on

Drop me down upon my back
I can't make another stupid lie
To carry on

I want run again
So far I'm getting nowhere

I can't believe it's here
My last nightmare
